A new OnePlus 5T rumour has emerged which directly contradicts what we've heard already, but then, that is pretty much par for the course when it comes to the OnePlus 5T, which has gone from being in development, to being axed in favour of a OnePlus 6 in 2018, to being back in development again, and then to being very close to launch!
The latest blurb suggests it's closer to launch than we'd previously expected; the most recent comments from reliable tipster @evleaks said the phone would launch AFTER November 20, but leaks from China suggest the handset will launch on November 16. And what's more, it'll allegedly be exclusive to Amazon.
However, that November 16 launch date might be just the launch event, as the leaked promo material from China says "sales start" and then gives a blank date in November, presumably censored by whoever grabbed the image originally. Could that date be some time after November 20? Seems likely to us.
There is, however, one big potential spanner in all of this, which is that the promo looks VERY similar to the OnePlus 5 Amazon exclusive page from Amazon India, meaning it could be a cheeky hoax photoshop job.
In any case, given OnePlus' association with Amazon in the past, it's quite likely that it will be an exclusive sales partnership in some regions, while in others Amazon will be one of several retailers stocking the device.
