With the apparent launch date of the HTC U11 Plus being November 2, it's not surprising that it has begun appearing in official certification documents - expect this to happen more in the next week and a bit - and it's now shown up in a Chinese TENAA certification with a look at the design.
We've already seen design renders based on leaked details, but apparently there's one design feature the earlier leaks got wrong; the HTC U11 Plus doesn't feature your typical display design with all corners matching, instead, it's got curved corners at the bottom and square corners at the top.
A closer look at the bottom:
Quite why HTC has gone down this unorthadox route we can only guess, although it's not actually a bad look at all in our view. Perhaps the shape has something to do with the HTC U11 Plus' squeezable lower frame, but with that said the regular HTC U11 didn't have the same shape to its lower portion.
The TENAA listing does not disclose the spec details at this stage, although that's sure to come soon. However, from several other leaks we already know we're looking at broadly the same spec as the HTC U11, but with a larger 6in 18:9 aspect ratio display with a QHD+ resolution, and the fingerprint scanner on the back panel. It will use the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC as the regular model.
