Samsung's Galaxy S8 has been pictured in a render apparently based on official schematics

A new set of 3D renders has leaked online allegedly showing the Samsung Galaxy S8 in all its glory. The images were supplied to GSMArena by an anonymous casemaker firm, which said that the renders are based on accurate schematics of the device.

What we can see is the curved EDGE display, which appears to be more pronounced than on previous models, with the bezels pushed further around the back of the phone. The Home key and fingerprint scanner are also gone as per the rumour that on-screen controls, and a scanner under the display glass, would replace these.

The render doesn't sport a dual-camera sensor on the rear, but that's not necessarily a big deal as rumours have stated that only one model - possibly the Galaxy S8 Plus - would feature the dual-camera technology.

Additionally there are speaker grilles both above and below the display, suggesting the Galaxy S8 may have stereo speakers, which may fit with that rumour of Samsung using Harman Audio technology. The handset still has a 3.5mm headphone jack, but it's difficult to make out whether it uses a microUSB port or the newere reversible Type-C.
