Samsung's Galaxy Note 8 has been fully revealed for all to see in the latest leaked renders

Tons of leaks of the Galaxy Note 8 have been hitting the web in recent weeks, and now the latest comes via BGR; a set of renders which have apparently been made by a third-party case manufacturer, Ghostek, based on that firm's access to details and schematics of the real device.

What this means is that while the below images are not official, they are about as close as we’re going to get, save for any leaked press images.

Case makers are privy to handsets months before they get a release, and quite a few of them like to leak images of the handset in order to drive up interest in their products.

This type of marketing is great for tech fans, as it gives us a sneak peak at handsets WAY before they’re launched, which helps readers, people like you, decide whether or not the phone is for them.

The hype around the Galaxy Note 8 has been huge, so the handset has a lot to live up to. Even more so when you consider what happened to the Galaxy Note 7.

Ghostek previously provided similar renders and details of the Galaxy S8 ahead of launch, which proved to be accurate, so there's good reason to believe this is the real deal.

The report also claims that Samsung has moved its launch event forward to late July, meaning the handset will be announced at the end of this month - it'll still be a New York launch. It'll then land during September, although some regions will have to wait until October.

This is, undoubtedly, the best look at the phone so far, and from one of the more reliable sources. Earlier renders were a bit hit and miss, one of the most recent by Nillkin contradicted a previous leak by Olixar (which was similar to this new Ghostek one) in showing the Galaxy Note 8 with an enlarged top bezel and a more squared off edge. The Ghostek leaks show that this is not the case, the curvature of the edges is smooth and about as pronounced as we've seen on the Galaxy S8 series, while the top bezel is about the same width as the bottom. Alledgely this will be on of the highest screen-to-body ratio phones Samsung has produced to date; higher than the Galaxy S8's 83%.

To recap, the Galaxy Note 8 is rumoured to sport a 6.3in Super AMOLED Infinity Display (with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio) with curved edges, variably either Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 processor OR Samsung's own Exynos 8895 (as usual this will be market dependent), and 6GB of RAM. Additionally it is believed to have a dual-12MP primary camera, an improved S-Pen Stylus, and a large 3,300mAh battery cell. It also packs a fingerprint scanner, but as you can see from the images, this has not been embedded under the display glass and sits next to the rear camera array, much like the Galax S8 series.
