Looking for a great deal on the PS4 or Xbox One? Well… look no further

What’s the ideal gift for Christmas? I have no idea, as I’m still in the throws of figuring out what to get family and friends. But one sure fire idea that will almost certainly be a hit is a next-generation console from Microsoft or Sony.

If you’ve resisted the temptation to update your Xbox 360 or PS3 console and have been patiently waiting for the price of next-generation consoles to come down, then now is the time you’ve been waiting for, as both are as cheap as they’ve ever been.

But these machines aren’t just about gaming; they’re also dedicated media centres with applications for music, TV and movies as well as things like web-browsing and the ability to connect to peripherals.

The Xbox One and PS4, while still next-generation consoles, have recently been replaced by the Xbox One S and PS4 Pro. These newer consoles have been designed with 4K in mind but the upshot, for those that do not have 4K TVs, is that the previous generation consoles are now cheaper than ever.

And just in time for Christmas 2016!

Black Friday and Cyber Monday have been and gone, though if you’re still after a decent discount on the PS4 and Xbox One, you’re in look as a lot of retailers are still running very compelling offers on both.
