The design of the Galaxy S8 is one of the biggest new features. Neither handset will feature Samsung’s traditional Home key; instead the entire front of the phone will be display – stunning AMOLED QHD display.

Samsung Galaxy S8: Rumoured & Leaked Design & Features

As you can see, many of the rumors are expecting the S8 to have a similar body construction to the S7. A aluminum and glass unibody with a curved EDGE display on both the regular and Plus models. That's right, the flat screen is being ditched on all models this year. Another change is the curved display is supposed to go further around the device, giving it a more unified look.

One big new feature of the device is supposedly Samsung’s much-rumoured Bixby AI assistant. Bixby is based on Samsung's acquisition of Viv Labs and that is melded with the company's own AI development projects.

One surprising thing that may be missing from the S8 (both models) is the lack of a dual camera system, which is all the rage on other smartphone flagships, like the iPhone 7 Plus. Matter of fact, many are expecting the S8 series to feature only 12MP rear cameras–but added to that will be advanced software that lets users take better pics. However, the front-facing "selfie" camera will reportedly feature built-in autofocus–a first.
