If you're running older phones and you use WhatsApp, you need to read this!

WhatsApp has confirmed it will STOP supporting certain handsets and operating systems, as the company moves towards smoother performance and a more feature-rich experience.

“These platforms don’t offer the kind of capabilities we need to expand our app’s features in the future,” WhatsApp posted on its blog. “If you use one of these affected mobile devices, we recommend upgrading to a newer Android running OS 2.3+, a Windows Phone 8+, or an iPhone running iOS 7+ before the end of 2016 to continue using WhatsApp.”

The handsets and operating systems that are no longer supported are detailed in full below:
