Bloomberg has just stated that it knows when the Pixel 3 will launch…

The Google Pixel 3 and Google Pixel 3 XL will apparently launch on October 9.

The news comes via super-reliable Bloomberg. According to the source, the Google Pixel 3 launch will take place in NYC.

Google normally does all its releasing in San Francisco, and it normally launches some other hardware too.

The change of location is kind of an odd one, given that Google has a MASSIVE building in which it can do pretty much anything.

The date (Oct. 9) is also later than last year’s launches which took place on October 4.

Google has not commented on this leak, however.

Google Pixel 3 Release Date (It’s Coming After iPhone XI)

The Google Pixel 3 launch will take place about a month after Apple unleashes its trio of iPhone X successors.

This gives Google a solid few weeks for the headlines around Apple’s new iPhones to die down.

Once this has happened, and remember, three weeks is a LONG time in news cycles, Google will introduce its new Pixel phones.

Again, there could well be three Pixel phones.

Rumors have consistently suggested a cheaper model, a normal model, and a super-pricey model.

This could allow Google to compete more directly with Apple; it is also rumored to be releasing three iPhones in 2018.

There will also be more products unveiled at the event too; a new generation PixelBook, some new PixelBuds, and perhaps even a new Google Smartwatch.

Either way, it should be a good launch. And it is one we’re definitely looking forward too.
