The Nintendo Switch release date is FAST approaching. This guide will show you how to pre-order your Nintendo Switch

I just pre-ordered the Nintendo Switch. I asked Nintendo if they would send me a review unit, but I didn’t hear back from them – sad times. Still, I wasn’t going to let this stop me from getting in on the Nintendo Switch action nice and early.

The Nintendo Switch will be available to buy in just a few days – it’ll get an official release date on March 3.

Why I pre-ordered? I don’t really know. I’ve never pre-ordered anything before but something about the Nintendo Switch just appeals to me so much that I felt compelled to secure my unit ahead of its official March release date.

I’m also pretty certain the Nintendo Switch will sell out, more or less straightaway, and this could mean long waits for those that didn’t pre-order.

The other reason I pre-ordered is because I am completely smitten with the concept of this console. I love the controllers, I love the concept and, from what I’ve seen of the games so far, I think I’m going to love playing content on the Switch.

I’ve had all the Nintendo Consoles over the years, starting with the NES way back in the late-80s. My favourite system to date was easily the N64 – I loved that console, dearly. I still do, in fact. You can still buy N64 consoles on Amazon as well!

I have extremely high-hopes for the Nintendo Switch, as do a lot of other people online. I believe Nintendo nailed the concept and pricing of the system – it’s interesting and priced aggressively. Both good things.

Best Place To Pre-Order Nintendo Switch?

I’m in the UK, so I pre-ordered my Nintendo Switch from Game Seek. It cost me £198.50, which is pretty good for a brand new console.

GAME and Tesco are also running pre-orders the Nintendo Switch, which you can check out below:

If you’re outside the UK, you can pre-order your Nintendo Switch at a variety of places. But the best I have found in the US is GameStop, which has TONS of options that includes game bundles, controller bundles and more.

Prices start at $299.99 at GameStop and go up to over $600 for the more extensive Nintendo Switch packages.
