A boatload of Galaxy Note 8 details have now been confirmed

A promotional booklet for the Galaxy Note 8 has been spotted out in the wildy wild and has pretty much dished all the dirt that can be dished on the subject of Samsung's forthcoming phablet. Not that this is that big a deal really, when pretty much everything has leaked already by this point, but it does mean we confirm or write off some details that were not necessarily concrete and were still floating about in the rumour ether.

Specs confirmed include the following:

  • 6.3in QHD+ [1440 x 2960p] Super AMOLED Infinity Display [18.5:9]
  • S-Pen Stylus
  • Iris Scanner
  • Face Scanner
  • Fingerprint Scanner
  • IP68 Water & Dust Resistance

Then there's the much-hyped dual-sensor camera, which has its own little list of features to check off; it'll have 2x zoom and both sensors will feature f/1.7 wide apertures with optical stabilisation (OIS), meaning the telephoto lens should produce quality images even in low light.

The S-Pen doesn't appear to have any new features listed and there's no mention of battery capacity, CPU or any other stuff from what we can see. However, it does appear to show the colour choices as black or what is either silver or white.

The booklet was leaked via Ausdroid, so this is likely the international variant of the Galaxyx Note 8 which will be available in Australia and Europe.
