LG teases a waterproof design LG G6 with bezel-less display

A few years ago, LG was way ahead of the game when it came to dropping teasers ahead of major device launches - everyone else kept things under wraps as much as possible, while LG seemed to enjoy dropping little hints here and there to get people excited. Of course things have changed now and this is much more commong - firms such as OnePlus base much of their business around being more transparent with consumers. But LG is still at it, it seems, with the latest teaser for the LG G6.

The Korean company has released a teaser video following its announcement of its new QHD+ 18:9 5.7in display, which will allegedly be used for the LG G6. The video goes into detail explaining that this kind of display is what consumers have asked for, showing clips of feedback from customers saying they want a big screen but in a phone that isn't unweildy; hence, LG's new screen designs.

Towards the end of the video, LG shows a smartphone frame with a number of keywords inside. Teasing February 2017 - the supposed MWC release date for the LG G6 - the firm says "imagine how your wishes will come to life."

Teased features include; big screen, smaller body, water proof, capture it all at once, and reliable. It's heavily implied that all these features will be present on the LG G6; the big screen, smaller body is obviously a reference to the new display tech and an ultra-thin, possible edge-to-edge/bezel-less design. Waterproof is pretty self explanatory, while "capture it all" suggests some innovative camera features. Reliable could be interpreted a number of ways, but we'd like to think perhaps it could mean decent battery life.
